Leggings I've loved before, during (and hopefully after!) pregnancy

I've spent 90% of the last 9 months wearing leggings and as such I feel like a preggo-lady-legging-wearing-connoisseur and wanted to share some of my favourites! Personally, I didn't want to buy leggings that would only fit during pregnancy so I sought out non-maternity, stretchy numbers that would expand with me. My number one recommendation would be to find ones that don't have any drawstrings as they are so much comfier around your bump.

First up is a classic. The Lululemon Align leggings have a fabulous and well earned reputation. They're buttery soft and expand to make room for a growing bump beautifully. Personally, I prefer the style with pockets as they give the leggings a bit more detail and add a flattering line down the side but the non-pocket options are also a delight if you prefer that style!

The Varley Always High leggings I came to later in my pregnancy and was totally pulled in by the gorgeous colour options. With no drawstring they feel comfy around the bump although I'm not sure they'll keep my belly button contained right up to the due date!

The Adanola classic shorts were a workout staple for me over the summer. They fit really nicely while I was 5 / 6 / 7 months pregnant so they were perfect for working out and keeping cool. I don't have any of their classic leggings but the fit looks similar and with them being drawstring free, I reckon they could be a good legging option during pregnancy!

I couldn't share some recommendations without talking about my trusty all-in-one, bumpsuit. Although you could wear this for working out, it's been my go-to number for days out that required more than leggings. Many people have referred to it as a giant baby grow but for the comfort levels it provides, I am totally okay with that (although it's definitely not the most dignified look when you're sitting on the loo!). I wore it with linen shirts and trainers over the summer and jazzing it with coats and boots for these colder months. It's been an absolute godsend and the best part is, it's not maternity so I can wear it day in, day out once the baby is here too! It's an expensive purchase but I would say it's totally worth the investment.

And there you have it, some preggo-lady wardrobe staples that should keep you feeling not only comfortable but fabulous throughout your pregnancy ☺️
